Northland Workforce Training Center Celebrates the Graduates from Its 12-Week CNC Manufacturing Program
04.24.25
On Wednesday, April 16th, Northland Workforce Training Center held a graduation ceremony for fifteen individuals who completed the 12-week CNC Manufacturing program. This program consists of 192 hours of training and prepares new and incumbent workers with the necessary skill set to enter the field as CNC Operators.

To help prepare the students for the interview process, members of Northland’s staff, including outreach specialists, career coaches, and marketing, held mock interviews the day before graduation. This gave the students the chance to practice their interview skills and receive helpful feedback. Everyone was able to sit down with each staff member to get different perspectives on interviewing.

The next day, the students were joined by friends and family to help celebrate their 12 weeks of hard work with a graduation ceremony at Northland. The week then concluded with manufacturing companies coming to Northland to meet with and interview the graduates for potential job opportunities. All our students receive wraparound services throughout our programs, including career coaching and navigation, transportation assistance, job readiness, and more.
